A dance performance by Marie Schang will take place Wednesday, October 23 at 18h in the lobby of Sciences Po Bordeaux.

Trained at the National School of Yoga Teachers, Marie has been practicing yoga since 2004 and is a follower of Swami Pragnyananda. She also perfects herself by doing regular internships with Babacar Khane, Mahesh, Laurence Gay, Nicolas and Marie Christine Leberre ...

Marie is trained at the Ecole Supérieure de Danse in Cannes, she takes classical lessons with Rosella Hightower, star dancer. She discovers contemporary dance, it is a beautiful meeting where she discovers that everyone can exist, live, dance by expressing what is unique in him. At the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, Germany, she enjoys working with choreographers on the Limon, Cunningham and Release techniques. The soloists of the Tanztheater Wuppertal company allow her to refine her artistic sense . She works on the repertoire of Pina Bausch, a key figure in the history of dance, which is the origin of dance-theater, including The Rite of Spring, Orpheus and Eurydice, Iphigenia in Tauris. In 2008, she starts teaching classes in Mülheim.

Back in France, she joins one of the biggest cabaret music hall, she performs with the company regularly on stage, locally and on tour all over the country. This experience allowed him to know how to be connected to others, listening, open to the space around him because everyone is important and a member of a whole. She was able to work on the interpretation of the movement in a very diversified choreography, contemporary, classical, jazz, African, Latin inspiration. She obtained her state diploma in Bordeaux. She teaches in private schools and associations on the Urban Community of Bordeaux.
